Lumsdon, Les and Speakman, Colin  Great Walks from Welsh Railways, Sigma Leisure, 1989, pp160.  Pb.  VG.  A series of walks in Wales, all starting and finishing at stations both main line and narrow gauge. A detailed map is included for each walk.  £3.95

Mowat, Charles Loch  The Golden Valley Railway: Railway enterprise on the Welsh Border in late Victorian times, University of Wales Press, 1964 pp121 plus pp13 of illustrations.  Hb. VG/VG.  Dw spine sunned.  The dw has been neatly protected with a clear adhesive covering.  A comprehensive history of the branch line that ran up the Golden Valley in Hereford from Pontrilas to Hay.  It was eventually absorbed by the GWR.  £12.50
