Rebound by York Bookbinding in attractive maroon covers with gold lettering.  Hb.  Fine.  This book arrived with badly worn covers, as is usually the case with this book.  Since the text was printed on high-quality paper and was in excellent condition, I have had this copy rebound by York Bookbinding to produce a really excellent hardback volume.  £48.50

Philips Authentic Imperial Maps for tourists & travellers: India, George Philip & Son.  "Lily Sharp" written on the front cover.  The covers are in poor condition, but the folding map itself is in Very Good condition apart from several small tears to the folds at the edges.  An updated 27 inch by 21.5 inch (80 miles to the inch) folding map of the railways and irrigation areas of India.  Ceylon and Burma are also included in the bottom corners.  The map distinguishes between broad gauge, meter gauge and narrow gauge lines.  £4.95

Tourret R  Hedjaz Railway, Tourret Publishing, 1989, pp181 with numerous photographs, line drawings and tables..  Large format Hb.  F/F.  The Hedjaz Railway was built by the Ottoman Turks to maintain a grip on their Arabian Empire.  Although the railway is famous because of the exploits of Lawrence of Arabia, this book is the first comprehensive railway history of the line.  £16.50
